Scale names and the corresponding colors

A practical example:

We are looking for the Bebop-Scale. The color is green, so we search for the green color on the circle.

Color Circle

The notes are depicted in the correct intervals of the scales. Color present means that this note is present in the scale. White means, this note is not part of the scale.

The green color fields show us the notes that are included in the scale that we are looking for.

For our example:

We are trying to find the notes for the green scale in C.

Key change:

The black arrow points to the key. If we want a key other than C, rotated the color wheel until the arrow points to the desired key. By rotating the wheel the color fields automatically shift and the grey background (1. level) will have all the notes of the desired scale.
